Please note: These are just general questions and guidelines. Information on the internet should never be trusted 100% if you have doubts, please ask your doctor.
Can I eat lunch meat while pregnant? Many people have different opinions on this matter. The main concern with eating deli meat is that some in very rare cases may contain listeria. The best way to prevent this and still satisfy your cravings for a sub is to microwave the meat for a few seconds, or heat it to at least 160° F.

Are hot dogs okay? For the same reason as deli meat, many women are concerned about eating hot dogs. Again, as long as they are probably cooked and heated to at least 160°F there shouldn't be a problem.
Can I eat cheese or yogurt? Cheese and yogurt is a great way to get calcium while pregnant. You should always make sure that it is pasteurized though. Consuming unpasteurized products can be dangerous to you and baby. Almost all cheese sold in grocery stores is pasteurized but check the listed ingredients to be safe (it should say something along the lines of: contains pasteurized milk). Soft cheese such as feta run a greater risk of not being pasteurized so again, be sure to check the label!
Is waxing okay? What about dying my hair? I found a really helpful source online that talks about spa and salon treatments and what is safe during pregnancy. Again, I wouldn't use it as a bible but in my opinion, the guidelines and suggestions do make sense. Spa Safety While Pregnant
